Winter Wonderland
We are currently having winter weather in Blacksburg, VA. This means snow, sleet, and freezing rain. This morning around 5-6 inches of snow fell, maybe more, now ice is accumulating on top of that. This morning, there was already a few inches on the ground when I left to go to work to drop off my car before I walked to the bus stop. The ground was covered with snow all over, and none of the roads had been cleared yet. I tromped through the snow to the bus stop hoping the BT was actually running because I hadn't seen any buses on my way to class. It was, and we slowly moved toward campus. I don't understand why I was going to class to begin with because it was really slick on the roads. Now that it is icing, my 3:30 is still on unless the University decides to shut down. We are the only school in the area, college or grade school, that is still in session. At least Band-a-rama practice was canceled for tonight. Now I'm crossing my fingers they'll do away with, or at least postpone Honor Band so I can get all my hours for work tomorrow.
