I didn't do much today, which by now is really actually yesterday. I watched a lot of tv and did stuff on my computer. My kitty helped with that.
Snoopy Laying Across My Arms While I'm Trying To Type:

Snoopy Cuddling With Me:

After Kevin got back home from eating lunch with his dad at Ryan's, I went over and we started watching Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back. (hince this blog's title, said by none other than Princess Leia herself!) We watched Star Wars: A New Hope last night. We had to stop a little over an hour into it because I needed to go to the Weather Station. For those of you who don't know, I'm doing an un-paid internship at the NOAA Weather Station here in Blacksburg. I work Sundays from 6-9. Not long, but I learn a lot in those three hours a week. Tonight was my fourth night there. Since there was no rain anywhere on the radar (the closest was up in Cincinnati, OH), it was a very quiet night. It seems like every night I'm there there isn't really anything going on. Anyway, this night one of the meteorologists there, Anita, showed me her research. She, a long with a few others, are going back over days when there was a lot of severe activity and figuring out what type of thunderstorms formed (super cells, squall lines, pulse, and multicell cluster) and where they came from, to form some type of pattern with it all. Or something like that. Haha. It was really interesting. I got to see huge super cells form on radar images, and I learned that they will generally move to the right of the storm, which indicates that it is a super cell. Anyway, so that was cool. I went back over to Kevin's and we finished the movie up. The middle of it was scratched up or something so it would skip and stop a lot, so we missed 10 minutes of the movie due to that. :( Then we watched some Friends! I love Friends, it's only the best show ever. Now I'm back home watching tv and on my laptop again.
Work all day tomorrow, I need to work a whole bunch to get lots of money for Charleston!

P.S. Happy 21 Months, Kevin!
